Research

The research goal is to develop computational models of the nervous system that integrate experimental results across levels of investigation. The three major focuses of research are on 1) biophysical models of synapses; 2) dynamics of processing in neural circuits, and 3) learning and memory in neural systems. We have also continued to develop new data analysis and signal processing techniques for large-scale neural data sets.
