Abstract
We present tools for manual scoring and annotation of digital video. These
tools are well suited for scoring facial behavior using the Facial Action
Coding System, as well as other scoring systems and annotation tasks. The
tools enable controlled playback of digital video, and provide text fields
linked to each video frame. The systems output to tab-delimited text files,
enabling analysis by most statistical software packages. Icode was developed
by the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and operates on
Windows. SCORE was developed by the
Machine Perception Lab at UCSD and operates on Macintosh. Both are
