Hello, world! Here I gathered some information about me, my scientific path, and my ongoing research. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute in Terry Sejnowski’s Lab, part of the MCell team and the LEBIP MURI consortium at UCSD. Now I focus on synaptic transmission, particularly in changes that occur after the induction of long-term potentiation at synapses.

I am a physicist by training, but I became fascinated with Neuroscience, how we process information, how memories are stored, and how synaptic efficacy is modified. I aim to work in close collaboration with experimental scientists, to gain a deep understanding of the mechanisms underlying synaptic plasticity, integrating experiments with theory or mathematical modeling.
